Problems and opportunities in regulation of benzodiazepines

JH Woods

A commentary on current national and international regulation of benzodiazepine-like drugs is presented. The policies and decision making associated with these regulations also are discussed, both in terms of historical mistakes and current problems. Finally, a proposal is made to improve the methods by which regulations are put into effect.
